As we're a small shop we can only have two customers or couples in at the same time. We're operating an appointment system, so when bringing in framing we're allowing 30 minutes and for needlecraft browsing, 15 minutes. This, we feel, is fair to other customers who may be waiting outside.
If you know what you want, it would help if you could phone or text orders in advance. We can then get your items ready for when you collect, avoiding the need to queue. Also, if you're just coming to collect your framing, you don't need to make an appointment - just have a look through the window to see how many people are in the shop before entering. Just a word about framing - since lockdown we've been inundated with work and are currently on a lead time of several weeks - please let us know if it is important to have a piece framed by a certain date and we'll do our best to help.
We are sorry for the inconvenience these measures will cause, but we are trying to maintain a safe and healthy environment for you and ourselves. We will be cleaning contact surfaces regularly and supplying sanitizer in the porch. Please bring your own gloves and face covering if you have them.
Our phone number for appointments and orders is 01384 560090 and texts to 07803080353
Thankyou, Sharon and Mark

BETTY STITCHKIT TEAM
Owner & Picture Framer
Mark has been framing for over 30 years (that's a lot of frames) - he started out making mirrors for several years and then moved over to the art world when he worked for a company that supplied the framed images for many of the countries top hotels. In 1993 he started the business with Sharon, but worked alone until she joined him full-time in 1999.
Owner & Stitcher
Sharon has been a stitcher for most of her life so when the opportunity came to form a business with Mark, she jumped at the chance. Now she runs the needlework side of the shop, does the ordering, keeps the books and pays the bills. Sharon joined the business full-time when it relocated from the original shop in Halesowen to Quarry Bank.
